Speakers Bureau
- As a community service, the Knoxville Area Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau provides a variety of garden-related presentations, given by trained speakers at no charge to schools, clubs, and other civic organizations. Sample Speakers Bureau topics include items of general interest, including organic vegetable gardening, ornamentals (flowers and shrubs), and general topics such as composting, irrigation/watering, insects, weeds, and common diseases.
To schedule a speaker, contact UT Extension at 865-215-2340. When making your request, please provide the following information: your name, the name of the group, phone number, date requested, time and location of the meeting and the number of attendees.
- The Speakers Bureau prepares seasonal topics to present at community venues open to the general public through the year. Public talks are usually recorded and posted to YouTube, along with other video recordings made without an audience. Videos can be found at KCMG Speakers Bureau – YouTube
- The Speakers Bureau also produces a series of videos: “Prune Like A Pro”. These are available for viewing at “Prune Like a Pro” – YouTube“.
