Renovate June-Bearing Strawberries

Renovation is the removal of a large portion of older strawberry plants to allow their natural replacement with newer plants that start as runners. The best harvests come from strawberry plants that are one or two years old. Long-term strawberry production is best maintained when a large portion of plants that have fruited at least once are removed from the planting.
