Distylium hybrids are compact varieties of the Chinese Distylium. They are relatively new in the nursery trade and are becoming a substitute for boxwoods.
Distylium hybrids need minimal pruning and should never be sheared with hedge trimmers. Hand pruners will suffice for tip pruning.
